To ponder: the difference between a lacking motor skill and lacking strength. Riding a bike requires the motor program to do so. It also requires muscular force production, sure, but the moment *just before* you knew how to ride a bike, you were lacking the motor program, not the strength. This is the case in many many instances. You're not lacking the muscle mass — you're lacking the communication between parts that would allow you the smooth recruitment of many muscles all over the body needed to accomplish a certain movement. Even one you think you're not *strong* enough for.
